পুলিশ দিবস উপলক্ষে, মালদা জেলা পুলিশ বিভিন্ন থানা এলাকায় সমাজসেবামূলক নানা কার্যক্রমের আয়োজন করে। উদযাপনের অংশ হিসেবে, ‘সেফ ড্রাইভ, সেফ লাইফ’ র্যালি এবং একটি আকর্ষণীয় পথনাটিকা পরিচালনা করা হয়, যার মাধ্যমে পথ নিরাপত্তা সম্পর্কে সাধারণ মানুষকে সচেতন করা হয়।
পাশাপাশি পুলিশ কর্মকর্তারা জেলার বিভিন্ন হাসপাতালে গিয়ে রোগীদের জন্য ফল বিতরণ করেন, যা তাদের সহমর্মিতা ও মানবিকতার পরিচয় বহন করে। পাশাপাশি বিভিন্ন এলাকায় বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি, বাল্যবিবাহ, শিশু শ্রম ও সাইবার সুরক্ষা বিষয়ে সচেতনতা কর্মসূচি, রক্তদান শিবির, কুইজ প্রতিযোগিতা এবং অন্যান্য সামাজিক উদ্যোগের আয়োজন করা হয়। এসব কার্যক্রম পুলিশের সামাজিক দায়িত্ববোধ ও জনকল্যাণের প্রতি অঙ্গীকারকে প্রতিফলিত করে।
এই উদ্যোগগুলো আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয় যে পুলিশের দায়িত্ব শুধু আইনশৃঙ্খলা রক্ষা নয়, বরং মানুষের জীবন রক্ষা করা, নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করা এবং প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রে সমাজের পাশে দাঁড়ানো।
On the occasion of Police Day, Malda District Police organized a series of meaningful activities across different police station areas to serve the community. As part of the celebrations, a ‘Safe Drive, Safe Life’ rally and an engaging street drama were held to raise awareness about road safety.
Officers also visited hospitals across the district to distribute fruits to patients, showing care and compassion. In addition, tree plantation drives, awareness programs on child marriage, child labour, and cyber safety, blood donation camps, quiz competitions, and other community initiatives were conducted in various areas, reflecting the police’s commitment to social responsibility and public welfare.
These initiatives remind us that the duty of the police goes beyond law enforcement it is about protecting lives, promoting safety, and standing by the community in every way.
