*Swachhata Abhiyan Conducted at Malda Town and Sahibganj Station Areas*

As part of the ongoing ‘Swachhata Abhiyan – 2025’ campaign, a dedicated rag picking drive was carried out today on the *track approaches to Malda Town and Sahibganj Station.*
The initiative aimed to ensure a cleaner and safer railway environment by removing waste and litter from track areas. Railway employees, along with housekeeping staff, actively participated in the drive, working collectively to uphold cleanliness standards and enhance the overall passenger experience.
Such cleanliness drives not only contribute towards maintaining hygiene and sanitation but also play a vital role in safeguarding the health and safety of passengers and railway staff. The campaign further reflects the commitment of Malda Division towards fulfilling the objectives of the Government of India’s ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’.
Malda Division reiterates its resolve to maintain high standards of sanitation across its jurisdiction and earnestly appeals to passengers and the general public to extend their cooperation by refraining from littering in station premises, on platforms, and on railway tracks.
